Yael Alroy

Yael Alroy is a Principal at Viola Ventures based in Tel Aviv, Israel, where she leads early-stage technology and enterprise software investments. At the venture capital firm, which manages over $2.5 billion in assets, she focuses on cybersecurity, enterprise software, fintech, and deep tech. Before entering venture capital, Alroy served as the Director of Global Security Operations at Check Point Software Technologies and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University. Her portfolio includes cloud security firm Wiz, which technology giant Google acquired for $23 billion in 2024. In 2024, she contributed to a $100 million funding round for an emerging cybersecurity startup and later spoke on AI-driven threats at the 2025 Cyber Week conference. Alroy currently leverages her technical operations expertise to evaluate and support scalable early-stage technology ventures.
