Xiaoming Yin

Dr. Xiaoming Yin is a deep tech venture investor who most recently served as a Senior Investment Manager at Lockheed Martin Ventures. During her eight-year tenure at the corporate venture arm, she led 20 investments across space technologies, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing. Her portfolio included Ayar Labs, which reached a $1 billion valuation, and IonQ, which became the first quantum computing startup to go public in 2021. Previously, Yin worked as a Fintech Associate at Pivotus Ventures and spent five years as a Quantitative Analyst in Citigroup's option market making division. She holds a doctorate and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University, alongside bachelor's degrees in economics and electrical engineering from Rice University. Yin's background combines advanced engineering research with quantitative finance to evaluate early-stage deep technology enterprises.
