Xiangkai Zeng

Xiangkai Zeng is the Co-founder of Klavis AI, an artificial intelligence startup focused on developing applied machine learning solutions for the technology sector. Prior to launching his current venture, he served as a Senior Software Engineer at Google DeepMind, where he contributed to the organization's foundational artificial intelligence research and engineering initiatives. During his tenure at Google DeepMind, Zeng was a core member of the Google Gemini development team and co-authored the official Gemini research paper, which was published in December 2023. His academic background includes earning a Master of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology from Beihang University. Zeng currently focuses on advancing commercial artificial intelligence applications and building scalable machine learning infrastructure through his entrepreneurial work at Klavis AI.
