Xavier Segura

Xavier Segura is a General Partner at Morgan Creek Digital and the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Tessera Venture Partners, based in New York City. Before transitioning to venture capital, he spent over a decade in go-to-market, product, and business development roles at technology corporations including Oracle and Verizon. During his corporate tenure, he managed more than $100 million in global profit and loss responsibilities while leading international cross-functional teams. At Morgan Creek Digital, he helps lead the firm's third venture fund, building upon a track record that includes approximately $150 million deployed across previous funds into companies like Coinbase. He holds multiple academic degrees, including credentials from Columbia Business School and Stanford Graduate School of Business. Segura currently focuses his early-stage venture investments on the intersection of blockchain intelligence, artificial intelligence, and financial technology.
