Xavier Helgesen

Xavier Helgesen is the Founder and Office Librarian at Enduring Ventures, a post-modern conglomerate, and currently serves on the board of directors for Enduring Planet. Operating as an active entrepreneur since the age of 14, he established Better World Books in 2002, initiating a track record of social impact businesses spanning over two decades. Helgesen later co-founded ZOLA Electric, a prominent distributed renewable energy provider operating across Africa, and Ecosafi, a venture focused on deploying clean cooking solutions. Prior to these energy initiatives, he completed his MBA at Oxford University, where he studied as a Skoll Scholar, and was later named an Unreasonable Fellow in 2018. His professional background centers on scaling climate-positive ventures, expanding clean energy access throughout emerging markets, and utilizing alternative financing structures like venture debt to accelerate sustainable business growth.
