Woody Marshall

Woody Marshall is a General Partner at TCV based in Menlo Park, California, where he manages growth-stage technology investments. Before joining the firm in 2008, he spent 12 years at Trident Capital directing venture allocations across the payments, internet, and mobile markets. He currently serves on the board of directors for several prominent public and private companies, including Spotify, GoFundMe, Payoneer, and Nerdy. Throughout his 30-year venture capital career, his investment portfolio has expanded to include major consumer and enterprise platforms such as Airbnb, Netflix, Nubank, and Twilio. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College, where he serves as a Trustee, and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Marshall focuses his current capital deployment strategy on scaling high-growth enterprises within the financial technology, digital media, and consumer internet sectors.
