Wolfgang Krause

Wolfgang Krause is the Managing Partner at Hi Inov in Munich, Germany, where he oversees the firm's German business operations and handles day-to-day fund management. After completing a banking apprenticeship and earning a PhD in economics from Munich University, he began his investment career in corporate venturing at Vodafone before transitioning to venture capital in Silicon Valley. Prior to joining Hi Inov in 2018, Krause worked as an investor at Seventure Partners and successfully exited Apertio through its sale to Nokia Siemens Networks. His extensive investment portfolio features several prominent technology companies, including the early backing of SumUp and IdNow, alongside successful exits such as Conject to Oracle and Tradoria to Rakuten. Krause currently focuses on international mergers and acquisitions, business development, and venture capital investments across the European technology and telecommunications startup ecosystems.
