Winston Lin

Winston Lin is a Principal at Verizon Ventures based in New York City, where he leads investments in enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. In this role, he manages an investment portfolio exceeding $200 million across more than fifteen companies, including enterprise technology startups such as Netskope, Drata, and Snyk. Recently promoted to his current position in September 2024, he directed a $50 million Series B funding round for an AI security platform in March 2025. Prior to joining Verizon Ventures, Lin served as a Principal at Trinity Ventures from 2020 to 2023 and held earlier investment positions at Menlo Ventures and Battery Ventures. Lin graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering, and his current work focuses on bridging telecommunications infrastructure with emerging B2B cloud and developer technologies.
