William Swiggart

William Swiggart is the Founder and Manager of Beacon Angels and a Manager at the law firm Swiggart & Agin, LLC, based in the Greater Boston area. Since establishing Beacon Angels in 2006, he has directed the group's early-stage funding strategy, which typically allocates approximately $50,000 per investment deal across sectors including biotechnology, diagnostics, and property technology. Prior to his current roles, he served as General Counsel for both Bitstream Inc. and ON Technology Corporation, where he managed corporate legal strategies, licensing agreements, and complex intellectual property law matters. Additionally, he served as the first President of the Princeton Entrepreneurs' Network and earned professional recognition as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in 2009. Swiggart currently focuses on advising angel investors and early-stage technology startup companies on tax-efficient capital deployment, liability protection, corporate incorporation, and mergers and acquisitions.
