William Hsu

William Hsu is the Founding Partner and Managing Partner of Mucker Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Santa Monica, California. Before launching the investment firm in 2011, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at AT&T Interactive and held product leadership roles at eBay and Green Dot. At Mucker Capital, Hsu manages a $250 million fund that writes initial checks ranging from $150,000 to $5 million, leading early investments in prominent technology companies including Honey, ServiceTitan, and Auditboard. He recently directed a $7.5 million seed funding round for Roofer.com in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Science from Stanford University alongside an MBA from the Wharton School. His current investment strategy focuses on providing initial seed capital to software and technology startups operating outside the traditional San Francisco Bay Area ecosystem.
