William Quist

William Quist is a General Partner at Slow Ventures, an early-stage venture capital investment firm. Before joining his current firm, he spent over eight years as a Partner at Industry Ventures and began his professional career in institutional finance at Banc of America. At Slow Ventures, he helps manage approximately $1 billion in assets under management across a diversified portfolio of more than 500 companies, which includes notable early investments in Robinhood, Airtable, Gusto, PillPack, and Solana. The firm recently filed to raise $275 million across two new funds in late 2024 to continue its core strategy of backing early-stage founders. Quist currently focuses on generalist seed-stage investments across diverse sectors including financial technology, enterprise software, consumer products, and healthcare, while actively publishing industry research and commentary regarding venture liquidity and founder conviction.
