Will Peng

Will Peng is a General Partner at Baseline Ventures based in San Francisco, California. Before joining the firm in March 2023 to help manage over $300 million in assets, he served as a Partner at Initialized Capital from 2018 to 2022 and held earlier investment roles at Thrive Capital and Goldman Sachs. Throughout his venture capital career, Peng has completed more than 50 investments, backing notable technology companies such as Amplitude, which held its initial public offering in 2021, and the unicorn startup Notion. He recently led a $12 million Series A funding round for the artificial intelligence startup Replicate in June 2024 and holds a bachelor's degree in operations research and financial engineering from Princeton University. Peng currently focuses on deploying early-stage capital into software, machine learning, financial technology, and developer tools startups.
