Will Cray

Will Cray is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Maive, an artificial intelligence startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2025 and backed by Y Combinator, the two-person company develops machine learning and computer vision software to automate manufacturing compliance for the aerospace and home services sectors. Prior to launching Maive, Cray served as a Machine Learning Tech Lead at Dexterity, a unicorn robotics firm, and worked as a software engineer on autonomous driving platforms at Intel. He previously founded an independent computer vision venture while completing his Master's degree in Machine Learning at the University of Texas at Austin, building on an entrepreneurial background that began at age thirteen with an Xbox console repair business. His current focus centers on applying advanced computer vision and machine learning technologies to solve complex industrial automation challenges.
