Will Cognetti

Will Cognetti is the Director of Fund Finance and Operations at Blackhorn Ventures, a venture capital firm located in Denver, Colorado. He originally joined the firm, which was founded by investors and operators from the Stanford University ecosystem, as an Analyst in August 2022. In his current capacity, he manages financial and operational functions for a fund portfolio that includes more than 250 industrial technology companies and over 25 exits. Prior to his tenure at Blackhorn Ventures, Cognetti worked as an investment banking professional at RBC Capital Markets, advising corporate industrial sector clients on mergers, acquisitions, equity raises, and debt transactions. He holds a degree in Finance and Economics from Georgetown University. His current focus centers on executing strategic transaction advisory and operational management for investments across the digital infrastructure, electric vehicle, and energy transition sectors.
