Wil Benton

Wil Benton is a Vienna, Austria-based startup ecosystem builder who currently serves as a Scout and Podcast Host at Ada Ventures, a Venture Partner at Aerospace Xelerated, and the Cofounder and Director of Metta. Before transitioning into venture capital, he spent ten years coding and eight years working as a software developer. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from King's College London, alongside specialized studies in sustainable finance at the University of Cambridge and public policy at the University of Oxford. In addition to his primary investment roles, he manages early-stage portfolios and builds communities through creative ventures like the FatKidOnFire platform and The Innovation Brief podcast. Benton currently focuses on combining his scientific training, policy insight, and finance expertise to support early-stage ventures driving regenerative change across future-facing climate technologies.
