Widya Mulyasasmita

Widya Mulyasasmita is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at BEVC, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Berkeley, California. Before launching BEVC in 2023, she served as a Senior Principal at B Capital Group, where she led life sciences investments for a firm managing $6.5 billion across more than 150 portfolio companies. Her prior experience includes roles on the founding investment team at Red Tree Venture Capital, as the founding Chief Business Officer at InterVenn Biosciences, and as Director of New Ventures at Johnson & Johnson Innovation. She began her career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company after earning a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and a doctorate in bioengineering from Stanford University. Mulyasasmita currently focuses on pre-seed and seed investments at the intersection of life sciences, engineering, and computation to advance human health.
