Whitney Wolfe Herd

Whitney Wolfe Herd is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bumble Inc., based in Austin, Texas. Prior to launching Bumble in 2014, she served as a Co-founder and Vice President of Marketing at Tinder from 2012 to 2014. She subsequently partnered with Badoo to build the Bumble platform, eventually leading the combined entity to a $13 billion valuation during its 2021 initial public offering. After transitioning to Executive Chair in January 2024, she resumed her position as CEO in March 2025 and currently maintains an estimated net worth of $510 million. Wolfe Herd holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University and directs the Bumble Fund, which has executed 14 early-stage investments.
