Wei Wu

Wei Wu is the Principal and Senior Director of Venture Investments at Johnson & Johnson Innovation-JJDC. Since joining the firm in February 2021, Wu has directed strategic capital allocations across the biopharma and medical device sectors. Wu currently serves as a board member for Shanghai Circode Biomed and holds a board observer seat at Hangzhou DAC Biotech, having previously served on the board of IMMPACT BIO. Prior to this, Wu worked as a Senior Associate at Illumina Ventures from 2019 to 2021 and as the Director of Healthcare Investment and Business Development at BOE Technology Group between 2017 and 2019. Earlier in their career, Wu spent two years as a Scientist and Project Lead at Tecan Genomics. Wu leverages a PhD and extensive scientific research experience to focus on venture capital investments advancing genomics and therapeutics.
