Wayne Zhu

Wayne Zhu is a General Partner at NGC Ventures based in Shanghai, China, where he focuses on Seed to Series B investments across the Web3, cryptocurrency, and FinTech sectors. Since the firm's inception in 2017, he has helped manage a portfolio of 46 blockchain investments and oversee approximately $400 million in assets under management. During his tenure, Zhu directed early-stage capital into prominent distributed ledger technology projects, including foundational investments in both Solana and Algorand. Prior to his venture capital career, he worked as a sell-side analyst at Guotai Junan Securities, distinguishing himself as one of the first traditional finance professionals to cover the emerging blockchain industry.
