Wayne Moore

Wayne Moore is the Managing Partner at Basecamp Fund, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Chicago, Illinois. Before his current role, he served as a founding partner at Purple Arch Ventures, a fund managed by Alumni Ventures focused on Northwestern University alumni. His corporate background includes executive positions on the global content acquisition team at Netflix and serving as Vice President of Business Development at Silver Chalice Ventures. Moore began his career as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy and later earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Stanford University, followed by an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. A Class 25 Kauffman Fellow and founding board member of Great Lakes Academy Charter School, Moore currently focuses on early-stage venture capital investments across technology and digital media.
