Warren Weiss

Warren Weiss is the Founder and Managing Partner at WestWave Capital and a General Partner at Foundation Capital. Before transitioning to venture capital, he served as a four-time chief executive officer for public and venture-backed startups and worked alongside Steve Jobs at NeXT. During his tenure at Foundation Capital, Weiss earned a spot on the Forbes Midas List for his investment in SilverSpring Networks and guided ForgeRock through its initial public offering and subsequent $2.3 billion acquisition by Thoma Bravo. Since launching WestWave Capital in 2018 with a $35 million maiden fund, his firm reviews approximately 1,000 companies annually to execute around twelve early-stage investments. His current investment strategy focuses on pre-seed, seed, and Series A funding rounds across enterprise deep technology sectors, specifically targeting cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
