Waleed AlZuhair

Waleed AlZuhair is a Principal at Elixir Capital based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, he oversees early-stage technology investments across the Middle East and North Africa, helping to manage the firm's $200 million in assets under management. Promoted to his current position in early 2023, he has been involved in deploying over $100 million across more than 20 portfolio companies, recently leading a 2024 investment in a regional fintech startup. Before joining Elixir Capital, AlZuhair held investment roles at Saudi Venture Capital and gained experience in private equity, operating within the same regional networks as peer firms like STV and companies such as Careem.
