Vytautas Balsys

Vytautas Balsys is a Partner of Portfolio Management and Business Operations at Eight Roads Ventures Europe, based in London, UK. Before joining the venture capital firm in 2014, he worked at McKinsey & Company focusing on corporate strategy and transformations, and previously led the successful turnaround of an insurance brokerage at age 26. At Eight Roads, which manages $8 billion in global assets, he supports value creation across a European and Israeli portfolio that includes nine unicorns such as AppsFlyer, Hibob, and Fireblocks. He was promoted to Partner following a period of significant firm activity, which included a $450 million European fund launch and nearly 40 exits in a single year. Balsys currently focuses on scaling technology and healthcare companies, alongside direct-access platforms, by optimizing business operations and advising entrepreneurs on strategic growth initiatives.
