Vlad Lata

Vlad Lata currently serves as a Venture Scout at Picus Capital, a role he has held since 2020. Previously, he co-founded and acted as the Chief Executive Officer of Konux, an industrial artificial intelligence and Internet of Things company focused on predictive maintenance for railway systems. During his tenure at Konux, Lata secured venture funding and established strategic partnerships with major transportation operators, including Deutsche Bahn. Under his leadership, the enterprise won the German Entrepreneurship Award in the startup category in 2017 and earned broader industry recognition that same year. His academic background includes studies at the University of California, Berkeley in 2014, the Center for Digital Technology and Management in 2013, and Technische Universität München in 2012.
