Vivek Rao

Vivek Rao is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tesora, an enterprise technology company focused on developing advanced data and artificial intelligence solutions for corporate clients. Prior to establishing this technology venture, he worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he advised large global organizations on strategic growth and operational initiatives. Rao also gained significant financial expertise serving as an investment professional at Sycamore Partners, a prominent private equity firm managing approximately $14 billion in total assets under management. He completed his formal graduate education by earning a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Today, his primary focus centers on scaling Tesora while leveraging his dual background in technology entrepreneurship and institutional investing across the broader private equity and venture capital markets.
