Virginia Bassano is a Principal at Italian Founders Fund in Milan, Italy, where she focuses on early-stage technology investments. Previously, she served as a Vice President at Eight Roads Ventures from 2021 to 2025, directing $10 million to $30 million venture and growth-stage allocations across Southern Europe, the UK, and the Nordics. During her tenure at the $11 billion asset manager, she backed B2B SaaS and FinTech companies, including Amenitiz and Swan.
