Viraj Mehta

Viraj Mehta is the CEO and Founder of Galen AI, a technology enterprise focused on developing artificial intelligence solutions for clinical and healthcare applications. Before launching this medical technology venture, he built a strong technical foundation in the quantitative finance sector. Mehta previously served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Optiver, a proprietary trading firm where he applied advanced computational models to financial markets. Additionally, he worked as a Quantitative Trader at IMC Trading, further developing his expertise in algorithmic systems and data-driven decision-making processes. He completed his formal higher education at Stanford University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Today, Mehta focuses on bridging his background in quantitative finance and machine learning to drive technological innovation within the healthcare industry.
