Vinnie Lauria

Vinnie Lauria is the Founding Partner and Managing Partner at Golden Gate Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Singapore and Vietnam. Under his leadership, the firm manages $250 million in assets and has invested in over 70 portfolio companies, including notable regional startups like TradeGecko and Redmart. Before transitioning to venture capital, he spent four years working in enterprise social software at IBM and co-founded two Silicon Valley startups, including Lefora, a forum hosting platform acquired in 2010 after growing to over 100,000 communities. He also established the Silicon Valley NewTech meetup, which attracted 10,000 monthly attendees, and currently serves as a Kauffman Fellow and guest lecturer at the National University of Singapore. Lauria currently focuses on bridging capital and knowledge between Silicon Valley and Southeast Asia to support regional early-stage technology companies.
