Viktor Minchev

Viktor Minchev is the Managing Partner at LAUNCHub Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Sofia, Bulgaria. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from Lancaster University and previously co-founded the initial LAUNCHub accelerator program in 2014. Under his leadership, the firm has managed over €20 million in early funds and successfully raised a €40 million Fund III in March 2024 to back regional technology startups. Minchev oversees a diverse portfolio of more than 50 companies, which includes notable investments such as the fintech unicorn Payhawk, a startup later acquired by Thoma Bravo. Recognized on the Forbes Bulgaria 40 Under 40 list in 2023, his current professional focus remains on funding and mentoring pre-seed and seed-stage founders across the SaaS, artificial intelligence, and enterprise software sectors throughout Southeastern Europe.
