Viken Douzdjian

Viken Douzdjian is the Founding and Managing Partner at Argonautic Ventures and concurrently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and a Board Member at Cognaize. He began his financial career in technology investment banking at Wachovia Investment Bank, which was later acquired by Wells Fargo, before transitioning to Marlin Equity Partners to focus on large-scale software acquisitions. Prior to establishing his current venture capital firm alongside Howard Liu and Rita Chiu, Douzdjian gained direct operational experience as the co-founder of Trellis, an enterprise cannabis compliance software company. At Argonautic Ventures, he currently directs early-stage capital allocations, writing initial investment checks ranging from $250,000 to $1 million for startups spanning pre-seed through Series B funding rounds. Douzdjian's primary investment focus centers on data-centric transformation, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and agentic systems across the B2B software, biotechnology, and financial technology sectors.
