Victor Zhang

Victor Zhang is the Co-founder of CEGA, a decentralized finance products company focused on developing cryptocurrency derivative structures. He brings over 15 years of professional engineering experience specializing in complex software architecture, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems. Prior to launching CEGA, Zhang held technical roles at prominent technology organizations including Tesla, Google, Orbiter, and Moat, and he is also an alumnus of the Y Combinator W20 cohort. During his engineering career, he developed an artificial intelligence-driven predictive analytics platform that successfully reduced operational costs by 18 percent and improved overall system uptime by 25 percent. He earned his academic degree in software engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2001. Zhang currently focuses on leveraging his extensive background in scalable systems design to build advanced Web3 and blockchain applications for the decentralized finance sector.
