Victor Treviño

Victor Treviño is a Partner at 500 Startups Latam based in Mexico City, Mexico, where he leads investments and acceleration programs for early-stage technology ventures. Before joining the firm in late 2022, he served as Managing Partner at Dalus Capital and previously worked in software engineering and product management roles. Throughout his venture capital career, Treviño has executed over 50 investments across Latin America, backing prominent regional unicorns such as cryptocurrency platform Bitso and payments provider Clip. He recently directed a $15 million fund dedicated to early-stage Mexican startups in March 2024 and completed more than 10 new venture deals during the first quarter of 2025. Holding a computer science degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Treviño currently focuses on bridging global capital with local innovation across the Latin American fintech, e-commerce, and software sectors.
