Victor Liew Jia Hao

Victor Liew Jia Hao is the Chief Technology Officer at StraitsX, a digital asset infrastructure company based in Singapore. Before his current role, he co-founded the Southeast Asian fintech startup Xfers, which participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2015 batch and secured backing from investors including Eduardo Saverin and 500 Startups. His earlier career includes software engineering and technology infrastructure positions at Quora and Credit Suisse, following his graduation with a Bachelor of Computing from the National University of Singapore in 2012. At StraitsX, he oversees blockchain engineering and regulatory compliance for the issuance of regulated stablecoins including XSGD, XUSD, and XIDR, while also facilitating payment integrations with major platforms like Grab, Amazon, and Alipay. Liew currently focuses on advancing digital payments, blockchain architecture, and stablecoin infrastructure across the Southeast Asian financial technology sector.
