Victor Lazarte

Victor Lazarte is a General Partner at his newly launched independent investment firm based in San Francisco, California. He previously co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Wildlife Studios from 2010 to 2023, successfully growing the mobile gaming company to a $3 billion valuation and over 3 billion global downloads. Following his transition to Chairman of Wildlife Studios, Lazarte joined Benchmark as a General Partner from 2023 to July 2025, where he directed early-stage investments into technology startups such as Mercor, HeyGen, and Decart AI. Earlier in his professional career, he worked as a Credit Trader at JPMorgan in London between 2009 and 2010, and he currently serves as a board member for the financial technology company Brex. His current investment strategy primarily focuses on providing venture capital funding to early-stage artificial intelligence and infrastructure enterprises.
