Vic Lanio

Vic Lanio is a Partner at Flare Capital Partners, a specialized venture capital firm with a 30-year track record dedicated exclusively to healthcare technology investments. Before entering the venture capital industry, he worked in product and business development at naviHealth, where he directed enterprise product strategy during complex corporate integrations. Previously, Lanio served as a healthcare consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising clients on health system strategy and the transition to value-based care models. He began his career in the Health Industries Advisory practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers and later earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he co-directed the inaugural MIT Healthcare Innovations Prize in 2016. Lanio currently focuses his investments on early-stage healthcare technology, targeting startups that develop artificial intelligence, revenue cycle management, and clinical workflow transformation solutions.
