Vernon Lee

Vernon Lee Jr is the Managing Partner at Lightship Anchor Fund, an investment firm focused on early-stage venture capital. He previously served as a Captain in the US Air Force before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Howard University and a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Dayton. Prior to his current position, Lee acted as Chairman of the Venture Capital Access Program, where he facilitated funding initiatives for diverse entrepreneurs. His corporate governance experience includes board roles at One Spear Entertainment and Ironbridge Systems, alongside advisory positions with the University of Dayton School of Business Administration and Embark Richmond Highway. Additionally, he has evaluated emerging startups as a judge for the InvestMaryland Challenge.
