Venktesh Shukla

Venktesh Shukla is the Founder and General Partner at Monta Vista Capital and the President of TiE, operating out of Silicon Valley, California. Over a 25-year career in the technology sector, he has collaborated with more than 50 startups in executive, investor, and advisory capacities. Before establishing his early-stage venture capital fund, Shukla held general management roles to drive rapid growth and served as the Founding Chair of TiE Angels. He spent 18 years as the Founding President of the Foundation for Excellence and currently advises policymakers on the Government of India's Startup Advisory Council. Shukla holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an engineering degree from NIT Bhopal. His current focus centers on funding seed-stage enterprise software companies while guiding founders through product-market fit, go-to-market strategy, and initial fundraising.
