Veera Pietikäinen

Veera Pietikäinen is an Analyst at Voima Ventures, a Nordic early-stage venture capital firm focused on deep technology investments. She previously joined the firm as a venture capital trainee to help manage the legacy VTT Ventures portfolio, which currently consists of 20 distinct companies. In her analytical capacity, she evaluates startups emerging from research institutions like the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and those backed by the European Investment Fund. Her investment analysis spans multiple complex sectors, including biomaterials, medical technologies, optics, robotics, software, Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence, with direct exposure to portfolio companies such as Elfys, Geyser Batteries, Genomill Health, and MVision AI. Pietikäinen currently focuses on guiding founders through the rigorous deep tech investment process while publicly sharing firm insights and analyzing emerging fashion industry startups.
