Vasudha Mathur

Vasudha Mathur is a Senior Investment Associate at Fireside Ventures and an incoming MBA candidate at Columbia Business School based in New York City. She previously earned an undergraduate degree in Economics from Cornell University before beginning her professional career in the venture capital industry. At Fireside Ventures, a prominent early-stage consumer fund originally based in New Delhi, India, Mathur spearheaded major sustainability initiatives across the firm's investment portfolio. She notably led a collaborative plastic recycling pact that successfully processed 5,000 metric tons of plastic waste through negotiated bulk agreements and portfolio company cooperation. Since 2019, she has worked across five different cities, building specialized expertise in early-stage consumer investments and circular economy practices.
