Varun Verma

Varun Verma is the Co-Founder of Blume Benefits, an administrative automation platform for health insurance brokers based in Berkeley, California. Alongside co-founders Aditya Joshi and Ethan Hou, he developed the software to streamline complex operational workflows across quoting, renewal, and revenue operations. The startup recently participated in the March 2024 cohort of the Y Combinator accelerator program to further develop its core technology. Under his leadership, the platform is specifically designed to eliminate manual data entry, saving individual brokers approximately nine to eleven hours per week. The company is currently executing a strategic expansion plan to deploy its software to 500 insurance agencies by the end of 2024.
