Vardhan Kapoor

Vardhan Kapoor is the co-founder and CEO of Firstwork, an AI-powered HR and compliance platform based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2024, the company recently raised a $5 million seed round in February 2025 led by Gradient and Y Combinator to automate onboarding and workforce management for frontline employees. Prior to Firstwork, Kapoor served as the Head of Region APAC at Remitly, where he launched operations across more than five geographies and scaled the regional business to a high eight-figure annual recurring revenue. He previously worked as a Strategy Head at Deliveroo, leading regional growth initiatives and scaling operations within the competitive logistics and delivery sectors. His current focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline time tracking, immigration compliance, and onboarding processes for seasonal workforces across the hospitality, logistics, and transportation industries.
