Vanja Josifovski

Vanja Josifovski is the Co-founder and CEO of Kumo, an enterprise artificial intelligence platform based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Under his leadership, the marketing intelligence company has raised over $100 million in total funding, including a $62 million Series B round led by New Enterprise Associates in October 2024. Before launching Kumo, Josifovski served as Vice President of Engineering at Twitter and held senior engineering leadership positions at eBay and MySQL. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and previously founded two startups that resulted in acquisitions by Jive Software and Unravel Data. In March 2025, he directed Kumo's release of new agentic AI features designed specifically for marketing teams. His career focuses on developing scalable machine learning systems and enterprise software-as-a-service solutions for data-driven customer insights.
