Vangelis Vergetis

Vangelis Vergetis is the CEO of Epikast, Inc. and an investor at Eucrates Biomedical Acquisition Corp, based in New York City, New York. Before his current positions, he served as the Co-founder and CEO of Intelligencia, Inc. from 2018 to 2022, where he focused on artificial intelligence applications in the life sciences sector. His earlier career includes a four-year tenure as a Partner at Hakluyt and eight years as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company between 2006 and 2014. Vergetis holds a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, and he previously served on the executive committee of the Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare until 2023. His professional focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to advance healthcare solutions and guiding biomedical acquisitions.
