Vance Brown

Vance Brown is the Co-founder and Chairman of Exponential Impact, a technology incubator and accelerator based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Previously, he co-founded Cherwell Software in 2004, serving as Chief Executive Officer and guiding the enterprise IT service management provider to a $170 million investment from KKR before its eventual acquisition by Ivanti. During his tenure in the technology sector, Brown also served as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Cybersecurity Center, collaborating with state and federal agencies to advance regional cyber defense initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Computer Science from Wake Forest University and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. His professional background centers on scaling enterprise software companies, fostering regional technology ecosystems, and supporting early-stage cybersecurity and business-to-business software startups.
