Valerie Li

Valerie Li is the Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of technology startup Duckie. Prior to establishing her current venture, she spent three years serving as a Senior Engineer and Tech Lead at Netflix, directing critical infrastructure engineering initiatives for the subscriber growth organization. During her tenure, Li spearheaded the technical execution of the platform's password-sharing crackdown project. This specific infrastructure engineering initiative added eight million new subscribers, generated an estimated $200 million in direct revenue impact, and helped stabilize the company's public stock performance. Before joining Netflix, she gained foundational industry experience as a software engineer at LinkedIn and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. Today, Li leverages her six years of specialized infrastructure engineering expertise to drive Duckie's overarching product development and corporate strategy.
