Valentin Chomel

Valentin Chomel is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Beyond Aero, a hydrogen-electric aircraft developer based in Toulouse, France. Founded in 2020 alongside Eloa Guillotin and Hugo Tarlé, the aerospace company employs between 11 and 50 people and is engineering the first electric aircraft designed to achieve a flight range exceeding 1,000 miles. Prior to launching this venture, he spent three years at Safran from 2018 to 2021, where he managed technology roadmaps and business development for flight test instrumentation across the civil, defense, and space sectors. He holds a Master's degree from École Polytechnique, completed business administration and management studies through Y Combinator, and serves as an agenda contributor for the World Economic Forum. Chomel currently focuses his efforts on advancing zero-emission aviation solutions through the commercialization of hydrogen-electric propulsion systems.
