Vadim Korolik

Vadim Korolik is the Chicago-based Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of highlight.io, an open-source developer tools platform specializing in web application debugging that was successfully acquired by LaunchDarkly in March 2025. Under his technical leadership, the Y Combinator Winter 2023 graduate developed a comprehensive suite for session replay, error monitoring, logging, and tracing, while also publishing technical blogs on filtering and Python libraries. The rapidly growing startup ultimately secured eight million dollars in funding and generated one million five hundred thousand dollars in annual revenue with an eight-person team, accumulating over nine thousand two hundred stars on its GitHub repository. Prior to establishing his own venture, the Bay Area native gained enterprise engineering experience through software development roles at Pure Storage and drive.ai, eventually earning his Master of Science in Computer Science from USC.
