Uya Chuluunbaatar

Uya Chuluunbaatar is an Investment Partner at Avoro Ventures, focusing on healthcare and biotechnology venture investments. Before joining the firm in March 2022, she served as a Principal at Amzak Health Investors, executing private and public biotech investments that included thirteen venture deals resulting in five initial public offerings and two acquisitions. Her fifteen-year career in the life sciences sector includes experience as a biotechnology equity research analyst at Goldman Sachs covering large and mid-cap companies. Chuluunbaatar holds a doctorate in Microbiology from the New York University School of Medicine and a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Cornell University.
