Utpal Doshi

Utpal Doshi is a Partner at 100X.VC based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. In his current role, he focuses on seed and pre-seed investments across the Indian startup ecosystem, contributing to a portfolio of over 200 investments and the recent ₹500 crore close of 100X.VC Fund II in March 2024. Alongside co-hosting the firm's podcast, he recently led an early-stage investment in the artificial intelligence logistics startup FreightTiger during the first quarter of 2026. Before transitioning to venture capital, Doshi founded the healthtech company Agatsa Software, which was acquired by MedGenome in 2021, and began his career working as a software engineer at HCL. An alumnus of IIT Bombay with a Bachelor of Technology in computer science, his current focus centers on scaling early-stage technology ventures across the software-as-a-service, financial technology, healthtech, and consumer internet sectors.
