Urs Naber is a Pediatric Critical Care Physician at Sutter Health's California Pacific Medical Center, based in San Francisco, California. He earned his medical degree from Hamburg University in Germany before completing an internship and residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Naber subsequently completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford and participated in the Stanford Biodesign Innovation Fellowship. Having grown up building and modifying gaming computers, he later combined this technical background with healthcare by attempting to launch his first needle-free vein access device company during his pediatrics residency. Through these early entrepreneurial efforts, he secured key medical device mentorship at both Dartmouth and Stanford. Board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric critical care, his current focus remains centered on the intersection of clinical pediatric medicine and medical technology innovation.
